John Vincent Davies (pictured back row, centre) a leading International level Technical Official and Referee, travelling the World as part of his Weightlifting duties. John was an extremely valued member of the Pembrokeshire Weightlifting Community, who supported a vast amount of Weightlifting Wales events and International events, including a number of Commonwealth Games for Team Wales.
Along with Yorrie Evans, Olympian (pictured back row, 3rd from left), both Pembrokeshire members were also members of the National Executive Committee.
We are not too sure which decade this was, but we do know that a Weightlifting Wales annual membership was 65 pence for Adults and 15 pence for Under 16’s.
