Jim Horner, a volunteer Powerlifting coach at his local club in Pembrokeshire, Strength Academy Wales and also for Weightlifting Wales, has been selected by British Weight Lifting to coach at the European Para-Powerlifting Championships which are to be held in France at the end of this month.

“Jim is a valued coach of the National Governing body, he has recently returned from the Commonwealth Games, where he coached the Para Powerlifting team. He now continues to develop his coaching experience with the Great Britain squad at the forthcoming European Championships along with Welsh athlete Nerys Pearce who will be looking to build on her excellent performance from the Commonwealth Games”.
