Academy Coach

We seek two dynamic, experienced and innovative Academy Coaches to join our team. The Academy coach will play a vital role within the organisation encompassing a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities. Highly involved in the planning and delivery of a varied programme, meeting the demands of the local community and inclusive of training sessions, fitness classes and group activities. Working closely with members to develop their health, fitness and wellbeing; sports conditioning and performance sport.

In agreement with the organisation and in addition to the annual salary there will be opportunities to use the SAW facility for PT activities.

26 hours per week. £12,168.00 to £14,872.00 dependant on experience

(up to £21,450.00 pro-rata)

Trainee Academy Coach – Kick Start Scheme

Two Trainee Academy Coaching positions are available. Job placements for 16 to 24 year olds receiving Universal Credit.

The trainee Academy Coach will assist the employed coaching staff and volunteers to support members and new members to develop their health, fitness and wellbeing. To assist the growth of Weightlifting, other strength sports and to assist the conditioning of various athletes.

25 hours per week. Minimum wage. Free employment training/education.
