Our Introduction to Strength Training course is the ideal starting point for anyone looking to build confidence and get stronger in a friendly, welcoming environment.
Whether you’ve never exercised before or you’re returning after some time away, this 6-week course is designed to help you ease into training at a pace that suits you. We start slowly, focusing on simple movements and good technique, before gradually building each week.
Led by knowledgeable coaches and supported by our brilliant team of volunteers, you’ll be part of a small group where everyone is encouraged and supported – no pressure, just progress.
By the end of the course, you’ll feel more confident in the gym, understand how to train safely and effectively, and be ready to move on to regular sessions at SAW.
