In the Para Powerlifting event
Evelyn Thomas became the Welsh Senior Champion in her body weight category with an impressive 58kg Bench. Also from Pembrokeshire Scott Taylor lifted exceptionally well with a Personal Best of 130kg.
Other lifters from Wales and England in the Para Powerlifitng event included Caroline Buckle, Gemma Kemble-Stephenson, Sean Gaffney and Matthew Smyth
