On the 28th October 2017 at Bangor University, 4 youth lifters from SAW competed at the Welsh Age Groups. A fantastic event for the Pembrokeshire talented youth athletes to lift at a venue of International standard. The training and competition venue at Bangor University is the national Governing Bodies elite performance centre.
A well sized audience supported all the lifters throughout the day, in a very well organised event.
The 4 Pembrokeshire lifters competed with great discipline and commitment, being very focused throughout this National tournament. The results were:

Grace McClean – Silver medal
Dan Davies – Gold medal
Dan Thomas – Silver medal
