Five Pembrokeshire Weightlifters competed in the Welsh Senior National Championships, 2nd March at Bangor University. It was a very successful day all round.

Lotty Whalley from Haverfordwest High VC – 4th place and breaking the u15 Welsh Snatch, Clean and Jerk and total records. Also breaking the British Clean and Jerk record. 47kg Snatch, 70 Clean and Jerk, 117kg total

Niamh Roach from University of Bath –  bronze medal, Snatch 53kg, Clean and Jerk 64kg, total 117kg

James hart from Valero  – Gold medal, Snatch 105kg, Clean and Jerk 120kg, total 225kg 

Louis Thomas University of South Wales –  Bronze medal, Snatch 100kg, Clean and Jerk 131kg, total 231kg

Anita Madan Swansea University – Gold medal, Snatch 72kg, Clean and Jerk 86kg, total 158kg

All five Pembrokeshire Weightlifters along with fellow team mate Chloe Hood, from Pembrokeshire College will be next competing at the British Universities, 13th / 14th April at Twickenham.
