We caught up with Islwyn Jones this week, a Pembrokeshire Weightlifter from back in the 1970’s.

He has been keeping fit and healthy, training regularly at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre and is still really enjoying exercise and fitness training.

Last year,  Islwyn trained especially hard with exceptional support from the PCC fitness staff to raise money for various Cancer charities, raising £1500.00 by completing a 75 rep exercise challenge on this 75th Birthday!! Which included:-

75 pull ups

75 press ups

75 dips

75 roll outs 

75 bosu ball squats 

All completed in a fantastic time of 48 minutes !!!
